Moti, an old cat, was found run over by a speeding vehicle. He had a diaphragmatic hernia and needed a complex surgery. He was operated upon and since he was old and had a long long healing period, he was adopted by one of our trustees.

Muktangan Education Program

Muktangan is an innovative educational project which has demonstrated how ordinary women and men empowered with the right beliefs and skills, can drive extraordinary outcomes for children from their own aspiring communities. They adopt a “Total Schools Approach” by training local community members through a yearlong pre-service teacher education program to provide holistic and inclusive education.
